Lone Star Bar & Grill selects POS Canada to upgrade their POS systems. “From a small Bar-B-Que stand at the football stadium in Ottawa to 11 locations across Canada today, the Lone Star Texas Grill has been servin’ up the kind of down home cooking loved all over the Southern States.” Lone Star needs a company to help them manage their growing business and allow them to analysis their operations.

Select Sandwich opens its first new concept in Newmarket, ON. Urban Kitchen opens with the Maitre’D POS system supplied by POS Canada. In February 2007 Select Sandwich awarded the contract to deploy the Maitre’D POS System in its 25 locations. Select Sandwich has now successfully launched their new concept store with great success.

POS Canada successfully installs Tiger Paw CRM software to manage its operations more efficiently. The software will enable a more effective level of customer support and more effectively deliver our support services to a National client base.

PartSource is building Canada’s foremost auto parts specialty chain. Launched in 1999, they are currently operating (67) locations across Canada. A standalone automotive parts and accessories store with approximately 7,000 square retail feet and approximately 15,000 products in-store. PartSource has chosen to implement the POS Canada Digital Surveillance solution throughout their locations. POS Canada will be installing and supporting all sites across Canada. The first 25 locations are complete and there are plans for installations into the rest of the sites in the near future.

Zellers of Canada installs (6) test sites of the Maitre’D POS system deployed by POS Canada. HBC/Zellers runs 300 restaurants across Canada and has chosen to deploy and pilot the Maitre’D POS System including (Corporate Polling, Inventory Control, and Wireless Handheld). The systems will run for (6) months on a pilot basis. Zellers is owned by HBC which is Canada’s largest diversified general merchant retailer, with over 580 retail locations and nearly 70,000 associates located in every province in Canada. HBC five banners are: The Bay, Zellers, Home Outfitters, Designer Depot and Fields.

MR. GREEK first opened its doors to the public in February of 1988. The Danforth location, in the heart of Greek Town in Toronto quickly became known as the busiest Greek restaurant in the city. In the first year of business, MR. GREEK's sales surpassed the expectations of everyone, and it soon became the number one force in Greek cuisine in Toronto. Business continued to boom and four years later, a need for a location was identified in the city's east end. Enter franchising. In 1993, a second location was opened in Scarborough. From there, the word spread, MR. GREEK became popular with the entire community, and now, MR. GREEK has grown to 21 locations in Southern Ontario. All locations use Maitre’D by POS Canada to manage there growing success.

Irving Oil agrees to have POS Canada manage the database for their 38 locations in Atlantic Canada. Irving Oil uses Maitre’D POS in each of their restaurant locations in Atlantic Canada and will rely on POS Canada using Maitre’D 2005 E-Global to host and manage the collective database.

Vrancor Hospitality opens latest Beaver & Bulldog Pub in Cambridge Ontario
POS Canada has installed the latest in a series of Maitre'D systems in the Beaver and Bulldog Pubs. We have been growing the complexity and range of programs with each new opening of a B&B location now utilizing the web based software e-global by Maitre'D. As the chain has grown, the more advanced utilities have made better and better sense with central head office controls and very comprehensive location management. Select Sandwich chooses POS Canada to deploy the Maitre’D system to their 25 locations in the Toronto area. In 1979 Select Sandwich established a healthy alternative to the fast food established in Toronto. Brian Kahn pioneered the “made-to-order” fresh healthy sandwich for lunch or breakfast. Maitre’D will enable this growing chain to control the operations of business to a greater degree. Using Maitre’D E-Global all sales and costing can be pushed to head office while the marketing initiatives and menu mix can be downloaded to the stores.

Pizza Delight agrees to have POS Canada manage their database for the locations using Maitre’D 2005. POS Canada working with Head Office Pizza Delight will manage the database and download the data to all stores using the Maitre’D 2005 E-Global software.

Choice Hotels signs a preferred vendor agreement with POS Canada. Choice operates over 80 hotels in Canada and is the largest lodging franchisor with over 275 Hotels open and under development, totaling 23,000 rooms. Choice Hotels became Canada’s largest hotel chain in July 1993.

Pizza Delight agrees to use POS Canada to provide service and support to the chain of 110 locations. Currently they use Maitre’D in 38 locations with the goal to convert the remaining sites over the coming years. On a go forward basis all new locations will also be opening with Maitre’D provided by POS Canada.
