Started by Tom Mavrou, a long time hospitality industry veteran, his “unrelenting love for the sammie” has seen the Meltwich Chain grow from an initial store in downtown Toronto.  Tom’s vision was to start humbly and build the finest grill cheese the world has ever tasted.

His secret? It's not one, admittedly. The best ingredients are a big part. An unrelenting love for the ‘sammie’ is the other big part. Between those two, he thinks they pretty much have their bases covered.

So head on into one of the nearest MELTWICH FOOD CO. locations and feast your eyes on the greatest group of sandwiches ever made. You won't be sorry you did.

They chose PixelPoint POS as their technology foundation, fast efficient service technology at the store level, soon to be implemented TAP payment integration, and plans for the PixelPoint enterprise management solution when the chain expands beyond Ontario.  Behind the scenes POS Canada serves as an implementation partner and a 24/7 support resource.

Imvescor has been in the restaurant business for over 40 years. It began with Pizza Delight, a small pizza take-out in Shediac, New Brunswick. Pizza Delight opened in 1968 and was purchased a year later by entrepreneur Bernard Imbeault. He expanded Pizza Delight and developed it as a franchise restaurant concept. Franchise businesses were relatively new in the late 60s and Bernard Imbeault is looked upon as an innovator of this business model.

With Pizza Delight as a foundation, Bernard and his team looked to develop a portfolio of restaurants brands that would complement each other. The year 2000 saw the acquisition of Mikes, then Scores in 2005, and Bâton Rouge in 2006.

Imvescor is our largest single client with over 300 locations across Canada. POS Canada provides the POS application in each site and Maitre'D Data Hosting services for Imvescor at our head offices in Mississauga. Imvescor uses our POSePAY EFT processing middleware, engages us for POS deployment and training.

When Bernard Imbeault, the company's co-founder bought a small take-out restaurant in Shediac, New Brunswick called Pizza Delight - the thought of welcoming customers to over 100 locations across Atlantic Canada, Quebec, Ontario and Alberta was a distant goal. Now over 40 years later, this dream has come true.

Canadian owned and operated, Pizza Delight was built on family values and holds true to these principles everyday. Bernard’s recipe was simple: start with a great pizza, top it with friendly, down-to-earth service and success will follow. Time and again, generations have come to love our Italian-inspired menu of pizza, pasta, salads, chicken and ribs and know that wherever they are, Pizza Delight always feels like home.

As part of the larger relationship with Imvestcor, POS Canada offers end-to-end hardware, software, service, and support to all the Pizza Delight's locations across Canada.

Wacky Wings Eatery & Beverage Co. was established in December 2007 in Sault Ste. Marie, ON. Being from Northern Ontario, we wanted to ensure we gave our customers the “Northern Ontario” feel as they dined with us. We covered all our walls in cedar logs, designed all our custom wooden tables, chairs and bar top and accented the room with full character logs. We use mostly Northern white cedar to achieve this beautiful cozy Northern Ontario look.

Our vision at Wacky Wings was to build the perfect relaxed atmosphere where you could enjoy a meal in a fun environment. We pride ourselves on having the friendliest, most caring staff around who will go above and beyond to ensure your dining experience with us is nothing short of a treat. We cater to families, large groups, sporting teams and sports enthusiasts alike.

When designing the Wacky Wings concept we knew we had to keep the wing fans in mind. We know there is no better combination for wing fans than ice-cold beer and great sporting action. We teamed up with Molson Canada who supplied us with their patented Sub-Zero draught pouring system, which allows us to serve your favorite Coors Light or Canadian draft at a frosty -2 degrees Celsius. We then added numerous big screen plasma TV’s on all the walls surrounding the premise. There is no better place to catch your favorite games then Wacky Wings Eatery.

We carry a full menu consisting of burgers, sandwiches, salads, appetizers, wraps, pizza and of course chicken wings. With over 100 flavors of chicken wings on our menu we had to be inventive which includes a combination of mouthwatering sticky, messy wet sauces and delicious dry seasoning flavors. Ask your server about our Flavor of the Month wings to try something new.

Our future plans are to build Wacky Wings Eatery & Beverage Co. restaurants in communities all across Ontario and eventually Canada. Our growth plans include both franchised locations as well as corporate stores developed with our partnership program.

……so if your looking for a good time and are having a craving for some mouth watering wings, why not choose Wacky Wings as your destination!

For more than 60 years, the Dairy Queen system's recipe for success has been simple. It's been a combination of hard-working people who own and operate restaurants and great-tasting food and tempting treats served in our establishments.

The founders of the Dairy Queen system were men and women who introduced a new kind of dessert treat and, in the process, developed the foundation of the franchising industry. The history of the Dairy Queen system is a story of a unique product that created an industry.

Our phenomenal story began with a 10 cent sale of a then unnamed product on August 4, 1938, in Kankakee, Illinois. A father and son in the mix plant business in Green River, Illinois, had been experimenting with a soft frozen dairy product for some time. They contacted Sherb Noble, a good friend and customer, who agreed to run the "all you can eat" trial sale at his walk-in ice cream store. Within two hours, he dished out more than 1,600 servings of the new dessert.

Back then, food franchising was all but unheard of, but the new product's potential made it a natural for such a system. When the United States entered World War II in December 1941, there were less than 10 Dairy Queen stores. However shortly after the war, the system took off at a pace virtually unrivaled before or since. With only 100 stores in 1947, it grew to 1,446 in 1950 and then to 2,600 in 1955. Today, the Dairy Queen system is one of the largest fast food systems in the world with more than 5,900 restaurants in the United States, Canada and 20 foreign countries.

POS Canada continues to provide support to independent franchisees that employ legacy TEC cash registers - from paper supplies, to board-level repair, to component/unit replacement POS Canada is pleased to support Dairy Queen in it's operations in Canada.
